Hardy Kluender, Founder of Master Craftsman Club, www.mastercraftsmanclub.com, woodworking club, an amateur master craftsman trying to learn and share the knowledge of woodworking with the community. He started his woodworking journey as young man with a high school picture frame project and did not pick up a tool or saw again until a decade later after getting married and buying a house. Little house projects reignited a spark of interest in improving his woodworking skills, realizing he was a visual learner he started a club and began organizing outings to visit local artist and craftsman. Another project, a chess board gift for eldest son’s graduation, changed his focus and inspiration. He began to understand the value and joy of the creative process, from design to completion and wanted others to share in that joy. “When you make something, it becomes a meaningful gift because you have given your time, and time is our most precious resource”.
