Painting without Fear

An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Tuesday, repeating until March 8, 2019
During the 8 painting class series entitled “Painting without Fear” participants will learn the process of painting. They will be introduced to the elements and principles of art, composition and various painting techniques. We will be using materials like oil and acrylic and will use various references and still life objects for context. There will be a final exhibition where the workshop attendees will be able to share their artwork and experiences with their friends, family and the community. Students will be required to purchase own supplies. Students will be provided a full list of supplies necessary. The cost of the workshop ($240 per participant).Register Now
About the Instructor
Sue Altman studied graphic design at Tyler School of Art (Temple University) and later got her teaching degree from Pace University.In her work, she seeks to capture the astonishing effects of light on color, especially as transformed by reflection and transparency.
