Welcome to Bethany's new online arts programming pageAndrew Irons | Featured Artist
Bethany Arts Community is pleased to showcase this wonderful Toy Theater Puppet piece “Star Waltz” by Andrew Irons, a resident studio artist and co-founder of Theater O located in Ossining, NY. This installation has been on display at BAC during our 2020 Winter Exhibit.
“This is precisely the time when artists go to work. There is no time for despair, no place for self-pity, no need for silence, no room for fear. We speak, we write, we do language. That is how civilizations heal.
Toni Morrison,
In times of dread, artists must never choose to remain silent.”
As a community, we stand together during these changing times.
In an effort to support our community and artists during these unprecedented times, we will be offering online arts programming and opportunities to stay connected with each other.
Stay safe and healthy as we support each other during this journey together.
A message from our Founder, David Lyons…
Come on, gather ’round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You’ll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you
Is worth savin’
Then you better start swimmin’
Or you’ll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin’
– Bob Dylan
Greetings and salutations to the Bethany Arts Community in Ossining, NY. As we are all aware, the world and society is in a transition period. Hopefully daily life will return to resemble something of what was in the near future. Until then, continuing with one of the founding ideas that “change is constant and always” and should be embraced, we will be offering a variety of opportunities for the entire Community to stay informed and connected. Please stay tuned for the many necessary and exciting changes that will be coming to Bethany in the future. Please support the arts however you can and whenever you can. I think it’s during stressful times that coming together and working as a community is the cement of our foundation as a society. It is that cement that makes us stronger for the next challenge, the next change that will come. Please stay safe and healthy, look out for one another. As a community, we are strong.
During these strangest of days...

We are following all recommendations from local and state government to the World Health Organization and the Center for Disease Control about social distancing and staying home. It is our top priority to protect the well-being of our community and staff.
