Opening Reception for Fragile Threads: In Search of Authenticity and Liberation Exhibit
March 1 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Join us for an Opening Reception for our Exhibit, Fragile Threads: In Search of Authenticity and Liberation on March 1, 2019 (7-9pm)
In celebration of “Women’s History Month/International Women’s Day“, this exhibition aims to not only illustrate the Artists’ authentic selves and connection to each other as complex and resilient women, thriving in an often punishing and biased world, but also their connection to their audience.
This exhibition showcases the works of various female Artists from the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Each of these artists are inspired by nature, the vulnerable, the resilient spirit and optimism, as is demonstrated in their work. Through their art, they aspire to liberate themselves and their milieu from adverse circumstances and societal preconceptions.
Exhibition Curator; Wynne-Fred Victor Hinds
