Julia Forrest is looking forward to jumping into the middle of and capture a brand new landscape at Bethany. She likens it to stepping back in time, as if she one of the first historical photographers set out to explore the unknown world, finding her work develops into the surreal environment she is striving to preserve. In the studio, she will delve into range of processes, including using her own compact, self-built darkroom to print photographs on high quality fiber-based paper, glass plates, wood slices, and cyanotype paper. This exhibition will include the many works created or in process by the conclusion of her residency.
