Let There Be Art reflects the individual artist’s creativity and expression, without boundaries. Artists were given the prompt to explore their craft for this exhibition. Our studio artists at Bethany Arts Community come from different walks of life, institution-trained and self-taught artists, parents and caregivers, writers and sculptors, graduate students and graduates of the school of life. With life revolving quickly, sometimes there are only a couple of hours left in the week to come into the studio space to create. Leaving the door open to uninhibited creation allows for our talented studio artists to focus on the breadth of life and keep the preparation for this show low-stress and enjoyable. There is not a singular, underlying theme for Let There Be Art, but rather a motto: “Let the artists do their art and let there be art!”
