He was a polymath genius who is widely regarded to be one of the greatest artists of the Italian Renaissance. Often temper driven, fickle, and difficult—he nevertheless found lifelong support by the era’s most renowned patrons and produced some of the world’s most iconic masterpieces. More recently, discoveries of his work now place him at the forefront of modern art! Take this class to find out why—and to go far beyond what you think you know about Michelangelo. He was a highly complex individual, with a fascinating history, and an artistry that sets him apart from all others.
