Title: Room to Cry
Date & Time: Tuesday, October 10, 2023 6 – 8PM

Inspired by Japanese cry-therapy workshops, Brooklyn theatre makers Siena Rafter and SRĐA invite the BAC community to a stateside crying room experience in exploration of their new play, Room to Cry. Participants will join in watching emotive movies, readings from heartfelt texts and shared personal stories. Stocked with tissues but also the collective understanding that no one *has to* shed a single tear, this experience is specifically curated and cultivated to facilitate a communal emotional release. Let us give you Room To Cry.

Registration encouraged, walk-ins welcome!

This event is a Fall Multidisciplinary Residency Community Program. As part of a residency at BAC, we ask each artist to build and facilitate a Community Program. Community Programs are a unique opportunity for both artists-in-residence and our local community to gather, engage, and be in conversation with one another through art. Community Programs are free engagements open to the public and/or in collaboration with a local community partner.
