Join the artists of Praise! Project for a creative storytelling workshop and community gathering.  

What is the workshop?
Sacred Bodies is a storytelling workshop meant to move us, inspire us, and bring us into meaningful dialogue with each other. If you have questions around these themes, want to gather in community, and/or want to explore your creative self, this workshop is right for you. 

What themes?
The performers of Praise! Project are asking themselves how they can encourage a full-hearted acceptance of their whole selves, and they invite you on the journey with them. Through the use of movement, music, memory, and imagination, a weave emerges between a sense of acceptance with a sense of the sacred.  

The workshop will explore the following themes: 

• Healing from past experiences 
• Coming into our full selves 
• Questioning what we once thought was true 
• The feeling of being under attack 
• Expanding family and creating community 

What is Praise! Project?
Praise! Project is an original dance theater performance that explores themes of sacred bodies, queerness, and coming in-to ourselves. Prior to the premiere of Praise! March 21-22, the artists of Praise! Project will host a community workshop in partnership with Grace Episcopal Church of Ossining to explore facilitated dialogue and collective storytelling around themes from the performance.
