Celebrate the changing of the seasons in this hands-on floral design workshop. Drawing inspiration from the rich colors and textures of autumn, you’ll work with a curated selection of fresh and dried flowers and foliage to create an abundant, garden-inspired centerpiece.
We’ll cover essential floral design techniques, including flower selection, conditioning, and floral mechanics. Whether you’re brand new to floral design or looking to refine your skills, you’ll leave with practical knowledge and a beautiful centerpiece to enjoy at home.
All flowers, vessels, materials, and tools are provided. No prior experience is necessary.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Abby Blatté is a floral designer based in Scarsdale, New York, and the founder of Blooms & Rooms Designs. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Montana and earned her Certificate in Floral Design from the New York Botanical Garden.
Prior to founding Blooms & Rooms Designs, Abby worked in interior design in Manhattan. She has also worked in flower shops and freelanced for wedding and event designers throughout New York City and the Hudson Valley. Drawing from her background in interior design, literature, and art, as well as her study of Ikebana, her work is inspired by gardens, the changing seasons, and the natural movement of flowers.
Abby creates floral designs for weddings, events, workshops, and private clients throughout the New York metropolitan area, the Hudson Valley, and beyond.
