Description
There is no better course for getting started in mosaics than this informative 2 ½ day weekend workshop. This course is geared towards both beginners and those who are primarily self-taught and want to learn about basic techniques, tools and materials. Students will gain confidence and receive a solid foundation of new skills all in one full weekend. The workshop covers cutting techniques, proper adhesives, substrates, design/layout and grouting. Students are introduced to both traditional and contemporary techniques, tools, and materials. Students will complete two projects during the workshop and are encouraged to experiment with color and texture to begin to discover the possibilities of mosaic.
