Description
Samantha Figgins Work in Progress Showing
May 20 @ 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Choreographer Samantha Figgins in a Works & Process LaunchPAD “Process as Destination” at Bethany Arts Community residency, is joined by 3 dancers and an interpreter. While in residence, Samantha is working on a new piece that will examine communication in its original form, when language required no spoken words. It will display how every action one takes is a dialogue with the Divine and creates our future reality. “Using American Sign Language and gestured movements as the vehicle for communication, I hope to demonstrate how intentional action is the language of creation.”
