Handmade holiday cards are the perfect way to wish your loved ones happy holidays. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced you can use this style of painting for the holidays, thank you’s, and everyday cards. I would love for you to join me to paint some fun and beautiful hand-crafted cards.
In this one-day workshop we will prepare two or three drawings and turn them into beautiful custom-made cards uniquely made by you. Watercolor painting can be a difficult process but with the right guidance, we can design decorative images you will love.
The process starts with a light pencil drawing on watercolor paper using traditional styles along with building color over a series of marks using specialized watercolor techniques.
Peter Leeds will guide you step by step into creating the perfect card for any occasion. Don’t miss this opportunity to build a tradition for years to come. It will be a fun and enjoyable time constructing some images you can share with friends and family while learning a new craft along the way.
Instructor Bio: Peter Leeds is a New York traditional artist based out of Westchester. His primary focus is anatomical studies with contemporary color theory. His work has been a range of murals, still life, landscape, and portraits.
